    I had so much hope for this movie and at a point I really thought it was about a couple of people on a different world fighting monsters who get defeated and are put in a different dimension and now stuck there with one of them trying to desperately Convince the other that’s what’s happening. I have had many non satellite light sightings simply because I am in the habit of walking at night and often late. Orange pulsating lights, red glowing lights both near and moving through the night clouds. No not navigation airplane red lights. Way too fast for one and not the correct shade either. And up in Alaska a glowing blue sphere that left eddies of tanish smoke. And in Humble, Texas in 1997 what looked like a dark shape with low level glowing zig zag or lighting bolt patterns glowing so softly that it was almost drowned out by the street lights. That passed over me as I worked on my then Chevette at about 8 pm at night (Oct I believe). It wasn't going very fast but was moving at about 10 mph by my estimates. With no obvious wind and from the George Bush airport area to the east. Couldn't have been a balloon at that time of night? It's shape was not the classical balloon shape and I saw no fire blasts to keep it uplifted. It's shape was more irregular. It definitely drew my attention.

    Hello; I didn't see, this video 2 years ago. I love "Being Human", both the British original and the American series. I love, both casts and the writing was always, top draw. I would love it, if a 2024, version would be in production!!! I loved that Aiden, got to be with Sally, at the end; of the series and the acting, was perfect, again on both sides of the pond. I even looked up, the role played by Sam Witwer, who, I found was a Juilliard , graduated. I too, went to Juilliard, but for classical composition. Wow, Ms Rath, looks great. Everyone, looks young. Wow like the moment Amber starts talking.. Don't take me saying this as me saying we've done enough, i'm not saying that one day there will be enough media based on females that are strong, foreigners that overcome, that are both main characters, and then we can stop and just get back to male superheroes and crap, i'm not at all. It just comes across as hella inward when someone is talking about pushing women empowered stories into the world like its 2009 or something when half the globe seems to be at war atm, and 6 months ago, white males get slapped for having privilege all the time, when will actors living in a bubble get the same reality thrown at them.. like we've got the memo and we're making steps in the right direction, stop acting like its the most important thing going on, jeez. If they're going to do to Buffy, what they've done with the Ark Animated Series, that's crap, sell it to disney, they love pushing ideals in a less than forthcoming manner people say.

    Had no idea this was a thing, many fans won't, i'm sure a good chunk of us are tired of the talk, some are sick of the letdown when these rumoured remakes never come to be, and some of us are sick of thinking we might have our classic ruined with another heartless remake to hit the screens. All i know is i'm giving this one shot, if buffy is a lesbian or anything else that is so far removed from what we saw over 7 goddamn seasons, if Angel and Willow are going to Qortoth and opening portals to the world without shrimp or anything else that feels as cringe and forced. i'm so out lol. no THANK you. turns out it's already been canned, that's funny.

    The state of Star Trek is in the gutter. Just like the Star wars and the Marvel brand. The leadership of these products all seem to fail to understand what made the previous ones so popular. And then proceed to write the series so poorly that the vast majority of series fans just give up on the product. I know I've completely given up on both those Disney properties, as well as Parmaount+'s filler content that they slapped the Star Trek name on. It's like we are in a generation of Trek where it wants to be literally anything but Star Trek. Discovery is a action show with main character syndrome more then a Star Trek Sci-fi show (Poor Buffy knockoff). Lower decks is an animated comedy, Prodigy is an animated children's show, Picard a Nostalgia show like Cobra Kai, Academy a Teen Drama show and then another Action movie with Section 31. The only Trek they've made out of 7 projects is Strange new worlds, but the entire crew talk like teenagers instead of Officers in a military structure. I've been referring to modern trek as feelings in hallways series for a long while now. Where every episode we get interpersonal drama, relationship issues or past trauma speeches. Where every body talks like an LA or Toronto teenager. Where the ships run like magic, and the science only goes as far as "That's the power of math, people". The state of Star Trek is in the gutter and people like Trevor Roth, Alex Kurtzman or Akiva Goldsman, are the reason it's no longer a culturally relevant series. They clearly do not want to make Star Trek, and are using this series as a foot in the door to make anything but actual Trek. Filler content for a streaming service is what the series has turned into. The series will continue to be culturally irrelevant, with low viewership for as long as these people are in-charge of this series. They've followed in the footsteps of Marvel and Star wars, by devaluing the product with large amounts of content that ignores what made the previous shows and movies so great. Sadly I'm at the point where all three of those series are a write off. I see something new announced from them and I don't even think of trying it out, I just assume it's going to be not worth the time. Creatively bankrupt is the best way I can describe the lot of it. But that's what I've come to expect from shows designed for Streaming platforms. More designed for the scroll the phone while having TV on for background noise crowed. Then for the audiences that made them successful to start with. Trevor's conclusion in this interview proves my point.

    • @Rottedlucky
      @Rottedlucky 3 дні тому

      I wouldn't quite say 'the gutter' but I totally understand what you're saying.. I'm 24 but I grew up with Original Series and Next Generation and Original Series is my favourite. Strange New Worlds certainly gets closer to being truly Star Trek but its sooo diluted for a more casual audience... I wish the show was nerdier, more philosphical, with more "ship-in-the-bottle" and "creature-of-the-week" episodes. I wish there were less continuity errors. I wish the camera would caaalm down. I hate what they did to the Gorn... I think that it is probably impossible to have a more niche classic-styled Star Trek show anytime soon because streaming shows like this have to compete with so much more than TV shows did. Now there's UA-cam, TikTok, online videogames, and people are busier and poorer. Shows have to fight so hard to keep the viewer's attention. Thats how I see it anyways.
